Annexe and Remodel
Bosham

This was a timber frame, single storey home with a very shallow pitch roof, finished with felt, and was leaking in multiple places.  Unless all the walls and roof structure were changed it couldn't have normal roof tiles, which would be an extremely costly option.  Therefore our solution was to refinish the roof with GRP and mop roll detail.  The cladding was removed from the walls and boarded with a render finish.  Natural timber cladding was added to the new gable ends.

A large extension was added to the front to create an Annexe for other members of the family.  Another problem was getting light into the sprawling property. This was done with various roof windows and individual areas of vaulted ceiling were created by opening up larger areas of the flat ceiling for multiple roof windows.
