Extension and Complete Home Remodel ~ Shoreham

This dated property required extensive renovation and remodelling. As well as updating the house, the homeowners wanted to future-proof it by creating a generous ground-floor principal bedroom with an en-suite, formed by extending beside an existing front bedroom.

A new extension was constructed across the full width of the rear, incorporating the original attached garage into the redesigned home. At first-floor level, an existing flat roof was replaced with a pitched roof, improving both the appearance and performance of the building.

The homeowners preferred clearly defined rooms to completely open-plan living. Frosted-glass folding doors were therefore introduced between the principal living spaces, allowing them to remain separate when required or connect for a more open and flexible arrangement.
